If I was asked to write a sentence describing our birding experience in wonderful Costa Rica, I would propose: “The small kingdom of nature embracing a land of superlatives”. From tiny Volcano Hummingbird to astonishingly immaculate Snowy Cotinga, this tour gave us the opportunity to enjoy the best of this natural paradise. In fact, the list of adjectives describing this country can be endless and would include words such as beautiful, mysterious, paradisiac, wild, authentic, challenging, exhilarating, diverse and beyond expectations.
