The charter flight to the Rupununi landed at the airstrip next to Kaieteur falls. From the view point we admire the Potaro river waters dropping massively while vocal swifts swirled the mist and gained elevation to gather in huge thermals. Contiguous to the falls, magnificent and enormous bromeliads were home of the diminutive and gorgeopus Golden Tree Frog. Equally fascinating, the forest provided views of the bizarre and astonishing Guianan Cock-of-the- Rocks. Welcome to Guyana!
