This is the fourth consecutive VENT Summer Eastern Venezuela tour. Highlights were two Harpy Eagle, 24 tepui endemics and a yet undescribed Softtail. Also 19 species of Pisttacidae and 51 species of Tyrant-Flycatchers in a ten days tour.

The 2006 VENT tour to Hato Piñero. 218 species, including great views of Green-and-rufous Kingfisher, Agami Heron, Yellow-knobbed Curassow, maguari Stork, Spectacled Owl, Chestnut-vented Conebill and Nacunda Nighthawk. Mammals included Ocelot, Capybara, Tapir and Porcupine.
