Brazil’s southern Amazon received us in a way that was difficult to digest. As it has been predicted over the years, the Amazon seemed to be getting drier and drier, and this year marked our definitive decision not to return to this area in September any longer. Nevertheless, and despite of the gray days and extensive smoke in the atmosphere, we enjoyed a wealth of wildlife and many of the target species that we were looking for.
